Soul for Christ Ministriy is addressing several key needs in the community, such as food insecurity, mental health, and housing. With the help of the North Texas Food Bank, retail partners, and donors, the organization is able to offer weekly food assistance to approximately 100 families, which equates to feeding over 13,000 people annually. This is an incredible feat that provides much-needed relief to families struggling to make ends meet.

The organization's six licensed boarding homes in the Oak Cliff neighborhood of Dallas provide essential housing services to those in need. Currently, Soul for Christ Ministries houses 112 people, many of whom suffer from mental illnesses and are unable to reside with family. In addition, the organization houses individuals on fixed incomes who cannot afford to live on their own. Each home is staffed by a full-time resident manager who ensures that the homes are safe, clean, and well-maintained. These homes provide much-needed stability and support for individuals who may not have access to safe and affordable housing otherwise.

Soul for Christ Ministries' long-term goal is to provide housing for even more individuals, regardless of their ability to pay, and their work in this area is making a real difference in the South Dallas community. In addition to the crucial services already being provided by their six licensed boarding homes, the organization has ambitious plans to expand their reach and impact in the South Dallas community. Within the next 3 to 5 years, Soul for Christ Ministries plans to establish a new site that will greatly expand the number of families they can assist. This new site will include affordable housing for families, providing safe and stable homes for even more individuals in need. By continuing to expand their reach and services, Soul for Christ Ministries is making a significant and positive impact on the lives of those in the South Dallas community.
